As many of you know, the SNASY Institute was created last year working with the Austria Cricket Association to provide a focus for the development of youth and women’s cricket in Austria. This was built on an idea that had been discussed for a number of years – that a successful cricketing future in Austria depends on a successful junior and youth program.
Following agreement at the ACA – ÖCV AGM, SNASY plans to start training on 25th April at the Austria Cricket Stadium, Markomannenstrasse, 1220 Vienna. This follows a successful first year with full junior international matches / a tour to Denmark / over 40 coaching sessions and 4000 coaching hours / not to mention a hundred, 2 fifties and a 5 for…
All the players who registered, trainined and played last year, will be invited to attend, but we are also keen to welcome any more NEW players – from 5 years old, boys and girls! Any new players interested in joining the academy, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
As last year, training will be every Saturday with two age / experience groups:
– from 10:00 to 13:00, 5 – 13 years old / beginners / intermediates
– from 13:00 to 17:00, 13 – 19 years old / advanced
In July and prior to specific international matches, there will be additional sessions.
We need the support of coaches from all Austrian clubs in order to make this program work for the junior / youth / women players and so if you are interested and able to help, please get in touch – email@example.com – we don’t just need coaches.
We look forward to hearing from you and to developing together.
